Who’s behind Wedge?

Co-Founded by Design Director, Justin Lortie and Creative Director, Sarah Di Domenico. Justin is an internationally awarded designer, former forest fire fighter, and forever a mountaineer who runs and explores outside as much as humanely possible. Sarah is a Cannes-awarded brand storyteller, who has developed beloved campaigns during her career in global advertising. She carries a deep interest in culture, nature, new ways of seeing, and is most likely spending too much time on the internet.

WHAT DOES WEDGE MEAN?

Our name is inspired by an expedition of Wedgemount – a mountain in British Columbia. Our Founder is a passionate rock climber with a deep respect for the outdoors. “I wanted to relate our name to something more personal, that would remind me that design seeks inspiration outside the walls of the studio, a memory of freedom.”

We partner with entrepreneurs we believe in. The venture side of Wedge allows us to partner, differently. We leverage the team power of brand design, strategy, and storytelling to land further investment and grow. We are typically involved between Seed and Series A.
